Kasumi was lost. Again! How many times has she been here,and she still gets lost? Jeeze i can be an idiot sometimes she thinks to herself as she searches for the way to the Princess' room. Dao had sent her with an errand to see the princess and a note which she was forbidden to read, so she really had no idea why she was here except for her master bade her so. And none of the palace servants were helpful, they all turned their noses up at her question since she was a stranger to the palace.

Well, I'll just find own way then! Damn fire nation snobs, some of them she thinks frustratedly to herself. She was running through a map of the palace in her head as she turns the corner, and bumps into someone who was also walking at a fast pace, and they knock each other down.

"Oof! Oh, I'm sorry! That was completely my fault, are you alright?" she says, and shakes her head from hitting it on the wall behind her as she looks up.

Rozu was in the fire nation palace, not because he wanted to but because he was being accused of something he didnt do. This wasnt a good day for him at all, he was looking aound the sights of the Palace and a random guard with a chip on his shoulder accused Rozu of stealing. He was bought to the palace, to be jugded and then he was going to be sent to the local prison. But leaving Rozu alone for a few was a mistake, he heated his cuffs and had the melted off.

Rozu was walking fast through the halls of the palace, wanting to leave before he was seen. "I cant believe this is happening, only my second day on my own and already im being accused of stealing from the royal palce, and they took my stuff to." He said to himself outloud. It was kinda weird that he was talking to himself but he didnt care.

He was walking fast turning a corner and then bumbs into someone. "No no its my fault I should watch where im going." Rozu said rubbing the back of his head. He looked at the girl, and she was pretty her white hair stood out alot and her clothes were kinda appealing. For a instant moment Rozu was checking her out, but then it vanished as soon as it came. He usaully payed no mind to such things. He picked up the letter for her and handed it to her. "Im sorry again I gotta move, im not really supposed to be here right now."

Rozu hoped she didnt know why he was here, then he would be caught.

"Ah, no, its fine. Wait, could you tell me where the Princess's room is? I'm already really late and my master would be disappointed were I to fail him, but I can't seem to find where I'm supposed to go. I think they must have done some additions or something since the last time I was here." she said, as she got up and dusted her skirt off.

She took a look at the man she had ran into, and saw that he looked almost scruffy, but somehow tidy at the same time, though she didn't get how that worked really. She was about to say something else when she noticed they had knocked over a vase and soaked the carpet. "Oh, shoot. This won't end cleanly if a servant were to find it." she thought, and furrowed her brow as she lifted a hand to manipulate the water as she lifted the vase carefully back up with the other hand. She used her water bending to put the water back into the vase without spilling a drop, and carefully re-arranged what had previously fallen out.

"Again, I'm sorry. And I don't mean to keep you long here, but I would appreciate if you could tell me how to find the princess. No one else is very helpful around here, that's for sure." she said wryly.

"Master you shouldnt have a master..." Rozu said kinda surprised. Rozu scratched the back of his head, he didnt want to hurt this girl but he couldnt stay here any longer. He watched her water bend the water back into the vase. "Amazing..."

Rozu stood up and fixed his clothes. "Im sorry I dont know where the princess's room is." He said outloud. He went to her ear to whisper something. "Im not really supposed to be here at all." He said now he hoped she wouldnt run off going scared. Perhaps he can use her to help him out, without him really telling her he is suppose to be going to prison.

"And yea no one is helpfull around here, but im sorry Im going to have to ask you a favor. Lets say belongings were gonna be taken from someone and placed somewhere. Lets say this someone is...about to go to prison. Where would this guy's belongings be exactly?" Rozu asked kinda desperate.

"I am a servant to Master Dao, the princess' first cousin on her father's side and in line for the throne behind her and her adopted brother." she told him. She examined his face when he asked this favor of her. Was he in trouble, or were the fire nation just being rude again. Either way she decided to help him. She searched her mind, seeing the map of the palace in her head as her eyes darted around the wall in front of her as if searching for something.

"......around the bend and through here, then in there find another set of three doors and take the fourth......" she muttered to herself, thinking it out quickly. Then she looked up at him, having figured out both his problem and hers. "Through this hallway go back the way you came, take your third hallway on the left and you will find a sliding door. Go through there and you will find a long hallway with three visible doors. that the fourth; its hidden for the guards only to be able to find it. Then once you are in there it ought to be an empty hallway leading to a hatched door at the end. Things that were taken without intent of return should be in there. Otherwise its right beside the Princess' room." she told him, confident in her memory of the map of the palace, her eyes bright with curiosity and a spark of adventure.

"Wow! ok I uumm...I wont remember all that. So I have an..." He was saying before he was interupted by fire nation palace gaurds behind him. "Hey you stop! What are you doing with her!" As if the Rozu's situation couldnt be any worse. Rozu not having alot of time to think, now was the time to act. "I didnt do anything!" He said as he lauched a arc of fire at the wall behing the guards to startle them. He grabbed Kiyo quickly. "I am so sorry I have to do this." He said with as much care in his voice as possible. He placed her over his shoulder, and ran quickly luckily she was very light. He jumped over the fire he just created and the guards were to slow.

He followed her first set of directions, "Go back the way you came, take third hall way on the left." He said outloud trying to remember where to go exactly. Once through the hall way and it was clear for a good while. He placed her down softly.

"I am so sorry about that, I know your probably scared but im just trying to get my stuff and get out of here. Ive been blamed for something I didnt do and they were going to send me to jail for no good reason or cause. It would mean alot if you could help me, and I can get your name?" He said fast and franticly he was nervous he just attacked guards, in the royal palace. Things were not going well at all, only down hill for Rozu.[/font]

Kasumi was slightly surprised when she was thrown over this man's shoulder, bu ass they passed the guards she used her water bending to put out the fire with the water from the vase earlier, soaking the guards. She looked at him curiously, and grinned. "I don't see why not. After all, if you want your name cleared, I'm pretty sure I could help with that." she told him, and pointed the way to go, her shift flying around her shoulders like water floating in the air. She looked at him and nodded, hearing footsteps up ahead, and grinning. She always loved stuff like this.

She moved her arms with the fluidity of a water bending master, and water appeared to flow out of her skirt, or her skirt appeared made of water for a short time as she gathered it. She grinned. "Whoopsie-daisy, here we go!" she said as she covered the floor the guards were walking on in ice, making them slip and fall and slide into the wall at he end of the hall. She grinned, and skated easily down the hall, clearing a way for the guy to follow by normal walking or running. She glided down around the corner and jumped, landing gracefully on her hands to flip into a kick-spin, knocking over the sealed door in front of them. She grinned once more. "There we go." she said, looking proud of her work as she cleaned up the water with her bending and put it back into the hidden pouches in her clothes.

Rozu felt releaved when she said she would help him out of his situation. She was a nive young girl, and he wanted to make plan to pay her back someday. But first he had to get out of this situation. Rozu relaxed and went back to his calm compisition.

He watched the girl work, she was trained well very well and made the guards look like childs work. Not only that she was athletic like Rozu. He grinned kinda a small smile took place this was going to be fun for him. He ran through the clear pathway she made, and went through the door after her. There were about two gaurds standing watch, and Rozu wanted some part of the action. He ran towards them and tripped the one on the right and puched him in the face knocking him out, and keeping the momentum he flipped up and kicked the one on the left in the face. He stood up and looked at the girl, he noticed he still didnt have her name.

"Where to next?" he asked. "Oh by the way you never gave me your name, my names Rozu from here the fire nation. But your a water bender and your here...thats kinda weird."

Rozu wanted to get to know the girl more, since she was helping him out. He was starting to like her a bit and hoped they would make to be good friends.

Kasumi looked at Rozu. "Not bad."said, slightly jokingly. He was good with his fighting. "Now we go down this hall to the hidden door and through there down another hall to the sealed door. That ought to be where your stuff is." she told him, and started down the hall, searching for a hollow sound behind a wall.

"Kasumi Chinatsu, special servant to Dao, the princess' cousin. I was stolen as a child and sold into royal slavery, but I was lucky. I'm from the southern water tribe." she told him, tapping on the wall with her ear pressed against it to find the door. She walked maybe 10 feet towards the end before she heard the wall getting hollower and hollower, almost as if there were something behind it....

She used her water bending once more, and found the cracks in the wall and carefully got her water in there. Then she froze it, and as it expanded, you could clearly see the outline of the door as it was compressed. She searched the area where a doorknob usually is and found a hidden flap covering a button, which, when pressed, slowly slid open the hidden door with a small, faint hiss. "Down there, but be careful not to make noise. The floors are all metal in here." she told him, and moved forward carefully on the metal floor.

Rozu followed her down making sure to be carefull on the metal floor. He tip toed lightly and kept the same path.
Wow she's been a slave all her life, thats not a good life to live. She should be free to live the way she wants to.

She was a big help to him, and he was about to get his stuff back because of her.

"Stolen child wow...well are you happy here? Cause I think you should have a life of freedom you know." Rozu said to her he wanted to help her. But he cant force her to leave when she doesnt want to. Maybe she does like it here, she seems happy but thats only on the outside.

Kasumi once again used her water bending to get into the cracks in the door and froze it, this one not bending as easy since it was metal rather than wood, but she halfway broke the lock. her leg raised to kick the door in and break the lock completely, she pauses. "I guess you could say I am happy. Its the best life I've known, away from poverty and the life of the poor, but I do one day dream om traveling on my own with no needed permissions from someone higher up. Its a good life at Dao's palace, and he is very kind to me, so I guess I'm a luckier slave." she tells him, and kicks the door down, fully breaking the lock as the door swings silently open.

"Hurry, we don't have long. I'll bet the guards heard the crash of me kicking the door and the lock breaking, so we haven't got long, and I'm pretty sure neither of us wants to end up in jail." she said, and looked around the room. It was absolutely filled with anything you could imagine. Water nation stuff, Fire nation stuff, Earth kingdom stuff, even Air nomad stuff! She looked around in the Water Tribe stuff, and found a necklace of some blue crystal from the Southern Water tribe, and took it. She also found a Southern Water Tribe cloak designed for the harshest of their harshest winters, which she also took.

She decided to take some of the Fire Nation coins for the ride home, and looked around quickly once more. She noticed several large standing water jugs that were full, and refilled her hidden water pouches. She moved the water jugs with the rest of the water on either side of the door; two of the largest hidden out of sight on either side of her, so she would be ready for an attack. She looked back at Rozu, who was frantically searching the Fire Nation items for his belongings."Almost done there? I think we've got company." she told him, hearing footsteps hurrying down the outer halls towards them.

Rozu listened to her words queitly, she called herself a luckier slave this made Rozu ponder a bit. "But still to never have freedom...its your human right to do what you want to do." Rozu said to her but he left it at that.

He hurries up to find his belongings, he was looking at other stuff. But he still wanted his stuff the most. He was all over the room, then he finally reached the last pile of fire nation stuff and his bag was there. "Finally!" He said happily. Rozu placed his bag over his shoulder, and saw a fire nation necklace with a symbol that meant freedom. He took it and had plans for it. Then Kasumi spoke to him. "Yea just about done here." he said back.

Then he ran towards the door, and took a deep breath lauching both hands forward releasing a large lash of fire towards the guards. To slow them down, Rozu brushed his hands and looked at Kasumi.

"Hey Kasumi is there another way out of here?" He asked before he burned down there only exit.

Kasumi shook her head. "If there is, its not one I'm aware of. she told him, and took out a bunch of soldiers by freezing them up to their necks. Another bunch of 5 came running down the hall, and Kasumi froze two to the floor and drop-kicked a third, letting Rozu get the other two as they ran down the hallway.

"Follow me! If we go see the prince and princess we will be fine. They know me, or at least know of me!" she told him as they turned another corner. They ran down several hallways, the palace build much like a maze, taking guards out along the way, before they finally came to the entrance to the entrance of the prince and princess' rooms where they would be able to talk to them. Instantly shoving open the first door, Kasumi pushed Rozu into the opening and closed it behind them, following, and she instantly knelt.

"I am Kasumi, servant of master Dao, the princess' cousin. He has sent me and my vassal to deliver a message to the royal family. We ask safe passage and removal of all false accusations put upon us." she said loudly, taking a deep breath and bowing her head to the floor and making Rozu do the same. They waited.

"Your safe passage has been granted to you and all have been informed of this. Deliver me your message and I will take it to the prince." The door in front of them slid open, and a half-bald servant with a top-knot and too-tight seeming face appeared from the door and took the letter Kasumi handed him, handing her and Rozu special armbands proving the royalty's temporary protection through the fire nation. She put her's on and nodded at Rozu to do the same as they got up from bowing and the servant left them to be on their way.

"That didn't go too bad, now did it?" she said, grinning and a gleam in her eye.

Rozu nodded and sw the guards coming in, she took out three of them Rozu smirked with the thought that the girl was kicking more ass then him but he liked it. He ran towards one guard and used the wall to hop on dodging his fire attack, rozu sweeped kicked him while he was airborne and from the same foot he launched a blaze arc of fire at the last guards to knock him out.

"Follow me! If we go see the prince and princess we will be fine. They know me, or at least know of me!" She said and Rozu followed her it was kinda like a maze it was a big palace and Rozu was only seeing one part of it. Soon they reached a door Kasumi looked kinda frantic it was a big door at that. Rozu came to a stop but Kasumi pushed him in and before he could respond she instantly knelt. Sh started to speak then bowed her head, and had Rozu do the same. He figured he should, but most times he wouldnt even if he was in the pressance of the fire Lord. But he just wanted this to end, so he did what he had to.

Rozu was given a armband he guessed it meant something like him being free to go now.
"No it wasnt that bad at all." He said fixing his bag on his shoulder smiling at Kasumi. "So this is it?" he asked her he wanted to make sure he was a free man now.

Kasumi nodded. "Our slates have officially been wiped clean and these armbands are proof of it. Anyone who attacks you while wearing that will automatically be charged for treason against the fire lord." she told him. she knew she would have to go home soon, but she figured why not wander the markets first, see what she could find? She did have more money than she needed, thanks to both Dao-kun and her taking those gold coins earlier. Besides, all that fighting and running had made her hungry. She went into her side bag and pulled out the cloak Dao had given her and donned it, this way showing she was no one special and not to draw any unwanted attention to herself as she so often did, thanks in part to her silver-white hair.

"Well, now that that is over and done with, why not come with me to the markets? I have plenty of time before I have to return, and more than enough money needed. And I think it's about time I got some new fabric for clothes,and maybe some kind of short sword." she said to him, thinking out loud. She looked up at him, just now realizing he was a fair bit taller than her, to see his response, her armband fastened securely to her waist, as it was long enough.

Rozu scratched the back of his head, that was really easy in just a couple of minutes he was wiped clean from all false treasons. "Wow...that was easy." he said looking quite surprised. Now he finally wasnt in a rush, and let out a breath. He finally got a to be able to look at Kiyo without really being in a rush. And he noticed she had alot of jewlery on it made her look nice, she looked like she came from royalty herself. Rozu looked at her as she pulled out a cloak that kinda hid her self. Rozu frowned at this a bit, it kinda hid her beauty.

Now Rozu had nothing to do, he forgot what his other plans for the day was before he got arrested if he had any plans at all. So when Kasumi offered for him to go with her to the markets he would go. "Haha yea I would be happy to go with you, but Kasmui why are you wearing that cloak for?" he asked curious, he was ready for her to lead the way out the palace cause he didnt how. He messing wit his bracelet which looked kinda cool to have in his opinion.

Kasumi looked up at him sideways. "Have you not noticed my hair color? That alone draws too much unwanted attention, and that is one of the reasons I'm here in the first place. Plus, if poor people see all of the fine jewels I wear because of Dao, we'd surely be attacked. Its also partly out of habit." she told him, and started leading the way out of the palace. It was still kind of confusing, seeing as it was built like this to confuse robbers, but she quickly found the right path out. It was easy enough, once she remembered the path she took, and she burned it into her mental map for future use.

She lead them out the palace doors and they walked down into the market, looking at all of the unique foods to buy first. She was hungry and decided to get something of a treat for them both. But what, she couldn't decide. She looked hard at some of the choices, unsure of what he would like, her kinder nature kicking in.
